At least five Pennsylvanians dead from weekend snow storm

At least five people in Pennsylvania have died from snow storm-related injuries. The weekend storm that passed through the area dumped as much as a foot of snow in some rural Pennsylvania and New Jersey counties.

But it was around Philadelphia, where we saw a “wintry mix,” where conditions proved dangerous.

Two men in their 20s died Saturday morning in a Bucks County car crash, followed that afternoon by an elderly man killed in Temple when a tree crashed through his home. Sunday afternoon, two more people were killed in a crash on I-95 in Bucks County.

PECO called the weekend weather the worst October storm in history; more than 250,000 customers lost power.
