Ask and you shall receive: Philly residents try to describe their neighborhoods

This could very well be one of those sorry I asked moments.

Someone with the username “Bevatron” is putting together an FAQ of a handful of Philadelphia neighborhoods and turned to the Internet for help.  Curbed Philly picked up the reddit stream that details what happens when you ask a Philadelphian to describe a neighborhood without providing any real talking points.
Some people are describing neighborhoods for which descriptions were not solicited. Others have opinions on places they’ve clearly never been.

And when it comes to Point Breeze, “There are three “descriptions” of this area and not one of them actually provides any useful information. Do you have any actual description of the area?”

Good luck, Bevatron. You’ve opened a can of worms that has no bottom.
