Artist creates real estate balloon alternative
They shrink, blow, pop and get in the way when you’re driving. But boy, do they attract customers. A New Jersey artist and part-time real estate agent has developed an alternative to the helium balloons used to attract customer to open houses.
While attention-getting, the balloons aren’t exactly environmentally friendly and they don’t last as long as the open house they’re selling.
North Jersey resident John Spears has come with a one-time purchase kit for agents, composed of ribbon streamers, dowels and clips. The Hunterdon County Democrat reports Spears’ months-long test in his own garden proved effective. He’s now patened and begun selling the kits.
You might not see the new signs up yet in our area, but you can check out Spears’ other work at the Circa Center in West Philadelphia.
