Arrest warrant issued in Cheltenham Christmas day murder

The Montgomery County District Attorney announced Tuesday investigators have issued an arrest warrant for the Christmas day murder of 25-year-old Robens Borno.

Investigators say Borno was killed while he was wrapping presents with friends at a home in Cheltenham during the early morning hours of Christmas day.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and Cheltenham Township Police Chief John J. Norris say the active arrest warrant is for 24-year-old Rayshon Carwheel.

According to investigators, police learned Carwheel’s former girlfriend and the mother of his child broke up with him earlier this month and became involved in a relationship with Borno. Police say Borno was wrapping Christmas gifts when Carwheel allegedly appeared in the room with what appeared to be a gun.
