    Here’s the latest from the area universities before the newspaper staffers took off for the holiday.

    Two UPenn students were honored last night for helping save a man’s life in September. Nursing graduate student Kali Rhodes and univeristy junior Grace Ha assisted a man who had collapsed on the campus. The two performed CPR until the Philadelphia Fire Department arrived.

     

    University of Delaware students rank below the national debt average among other universities. Numbers from the Project on Student Debt show UDel students who graduated in 2009 averaged about $7,000 less in debt than their peers at other schools.

    Temple University‘s Student Government is tacking campus-neighborhood relations. At its State of the Campus address Tuesday, TSG highlighted upcoming programs designed to help students be better neighbors to non-campus residents.

    Drexel University‘s music program has been named among the top in the country by Billboard.com. The honor is due in part to the university’s many professionaly inspired programs like a record label, booking agency and promotions outlet.
