    Script:
Speaking on WAEB Radio yesterday, former Congressman Pat Toomey said he is seriously thinking about challenging Senator Specter again.

Toomey: “A run for senate is back on the table as a real possability. Those considerations were underway before what’s happened in the past couple of months in Washington.”

Senator Specter says he’s prepared for any competition. I’ve run in many elections sometimes against big names, sometimes against names not so big. I’m prepared for whoever may run. In the 2004 primary, Toomey lost by just 17,000 votes out of 1 million cast.  Senator Specter is one of three Republican senators to sign on to the Obama administration’s recovery plan, making his one of the key votes to pass the measure in the Senate.
