Another suspicious phone call at Holmdel school this morning

UPDATE: (10:50): All schools have returned to normal operations, police said.

UPDATE (10:30): “Secure the building” has ended at the Village and Indian Hill schools but remains at the W.R Satz and Holmdel High School complex, police said.

Police are investigating yet another suspicious phone call made to a Holmdel school this morning, authorities said.

This incident follows a suspicious phone call earlier this week and multiple others since late March.

This morning’s incident involves a call made to the W.R. Satz School, prompting the “secure the building” protocol at the W.R. Satz School and Holmdel High School complex as well as the Village and Indian Hill schools, according to a tweet from the Holmdel School District.

“No one may enter or exit these schools until the police have given clearance to resume to normal operations. All are safe,” a tweet said. “We will keep you informed as the police conduct their work. Please do not attempt to come to the schools at this time.”
