Coons is running against Republican Christine O’Donnell in the November 2 General Election for the Senate seat formerly held by Vice President Joe Biden.

Franken, who won his election in Minnesota by just 312 votes, talked to volunteers about why it’s so important to get people out to vote.

One of the videos released by Bill Maher from his Politically Incorrect broadcast featured Franken sitting next to Christine O’Donnell.   He did mention her name during his time campaigning for Coons.
