After two-week delay, Lower Moreland schools will get solar panels

Delayed by a discovery of a hard substance in the high school’s roof, installation of solar panels will begin next week on the Lower Moreland district schools.

That discovery, which the Globe Times Chronicle reports turned out to be glue used in the roof construction, set the project back two weeks. But everything should be in place by early January.

The first racks and panels will be installed next week on the high school — something that was originally scheduled to have been done by November.
