Advocacy groups draft letter to Corbett-about homelessness and violence

Project HOME has teamed up with CeaseFirePA and Moms Against Guns to draft a letter to Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett asking for his help to enact “common-sense gun laws” and services for the homeless.

The letter, which Pennsylvania residents can sign online, calls on Corbett to consider a lost/stolen gun reporting requirement, a capitalized state housing trust fund and and land bank enabling legislation.

A release from Project HOME says the goal is to send several thousand signatures to Corbett by the middle of May.
