ACME closings

    ACME announced yesterday it will close six stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. The stores in Millville, Cinnaminson and Moorestown, NJ; Limerick and Wayne, Pa.; and Falston, Md.; will shut down by the end of next month. Millville’s in-ACME pharmacy will close Jan. 18, the Gloucester County Times reports.

    This could also mean bad news for Tastykake, who announced today it’s experiencing financial troubles, some of which relate to the recent closing of A&P markets.
