AAA Mid-Atlantic: New Jersey gas prices stay stable
Motorists are seeing stable prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $1.91, the same as last week. That’s also much lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.38.
The national average price on Friday was $2.13, up a penny from last week. But that’s still much lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.59.
Analysts say fuel prices in New Jersey will likely continue to stay stable or slide in the coming weeks, noting that gas supplies remain high and oil prices remain low.
