9-year-old driving car crashes into tree
Philadelphia Police are working to figure out why a 9-year-old child was driving a car that crashed into a tree in northeast Philadelphia this morning.
WPVI-TV reports the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. in the northbound outer lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard at Rhawn Street.
When police arrived, they discovered the 9-year-old boy behind the wheel.
According to WPVI-TV, the boy suffered head injuries and was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital
Police say no one else was injured in the crash.
