7 teams from Montgomery Co. compete in SWAT Challenge

    Seven public safety teams from Montgomery County today competed in a challenge that tests physical endurance, teamwork and the ability to be ready for a mission at all times.

    It’s all part of the Fifth Annual Montgomery County SWAT Challenge, which began today at 10 a.m.

    The seven teams represent several county departments, including; Abington Police Department, Cheltenham Police Department, Montgomery County Correctional Facility C.E.R.T., the North Penn Tactical Team and others.

    The challenge includes five competitions in which each time must take part in.

    The challenge was held at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus in Conshohocken.
