Dec. 16, 2011

5000 block McKean St. – Access card stolen from the property. Complainant said the card’s $480 balance was zeroed out following the theft.

3000 block N. 29th St. – 2011 Chevy Malibu stolen, but recovered prior to police report.

N. 33rd St./W. Allegheny Ave. – Complainant said someone snatched his cell phone from out of his hand at the location.

Wayne Ave./Roberts Ave. – Complainant said two men assaulted him before running off with his book bag, iPod, books and jacket.

2400 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – Complainant said a woman hit her with a plastic shovel at the location.

4200 block N. 15th St. – Complainant said that his girlfriend’s brother assaulted him at the location. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he was treated for severe injuries to the head.

2300 block W. Lehigh Ave. – Complainant said his girlfriend stabbed him in the left arm with a kitchen knife during a dispute.

2700 block W. Lehigh Ave. – Complainant said a man struck him in the left eye with a glass bottle during a fight. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Dec. 17, 2011

3400 block W. Westmoreland St. – 32-inch TV, watch, camera and pocketbook stolen from the property.

Dec. 18. 2011

3100 block N. 32nd St. – 1990 Chrysler LeBaron stolen.

3200 block Henry Ave. – Complainant said someone stole his silver iPod from his pocket while he was at the location.

200 block W. Earlham St. – Complainant said someone stole her purse from the property. The bag contained keys, drivers license, credit cards and a cell phone.

3800 block N. 16th St. – 32-inch RCA flat screen TV and an Xbox 360 were stolen from the property.

2600 block W. Silver St. – 1998 Ford Taurus stolen.

Dec. 19, 2011

4200 block N. Broad St. – Copper stolen from the property.

2000 block Newcomb St. – Copper and plumbing stolen from the property.

1600 block W. Westmoreland St. – Complainant said a fire was started in the first floor of an apartment building. The incident was deemed arson.

1400 block W. Glenwood Ave. – Macbook computer and card, digital camera, two camera lenses, two hard drives and six flash drives stolen.

2800 block N. 17th St. – Complainant said an inmate at the location became irate during breakfast and threw coffee and spit on her.

Dec. 20, 2011

600 block W. Rittenhouse St. – Passenger-side wheel and rim stolen from a 1996 Lincoln Continental.

4500 block Wayne Ave. – Cigarettes and cigars stolen from a grocery store at the location.

3800 block N. 15th St. – Copper pipes and other items stolen from the property.

4500 block Germantown Ave. – SEPTA employee said he saw four men rolling away four spools of “static wire” and a spool of “trolley wire.” The spools, taken from a locked trailer, are valued at an estimated $64,000.

1700 block W. Westmoreland St. – Complainant said a man hit him in the head with an unknown object after the offender told him to stay off the corner. Complainant went the hospital where he received three stitches.

2300 block W. Indiana Ave. – A man was murdered. Police found the complainant at the location with a gunshot wound to the head and multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4 p.m.

Dec. 21, 2011

5500 block Wayne Ave. – Complainant said he was in a fight with three men at the location. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

400 block Manheim St. – Complainant said a man robbed him at the location. Offender ran off with complainant’s cell phone and jacket.

300 block W. Chelten Ave. – Complainant said someone stole a Fed-Ex package from in front of his apartment door.

3200 block N. Bailey St. – 19-inch Magnavox, DVD player, jewelry and a gun were stolen from the property.

Dec. 22, 2011

4000 block Ridge Ave. – HP laptop, Sony stereo, cordless phone, sneakers and clothes were stolen from the property.

Unit block W. Logan St. – 42-inch Phillips TV, Xbox 360, Toshiba laptop and nine X-Box games stolen from the property.

2100 block Lehigh Ave. – Jacket, state I.D., social security card, keys, $100 and a wallet were stolen at the location.
