3 year old girl killed in Philly shooting

Police and witnesses in Philadelphia say a 3-year-old girl who was sitting on her front porch getting her hair done was killed when a man opened fire during an argument. Three adults were injured.

WCAU-TV in Philadelphia reports the shooting happened at about 9:40 p.m. in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Police Capt. Michael Gormley tells the news station two men were arguing on the street when one pulled out a gun and started firing. The bullet hit the girl in the left side of her chest. Police rushed her to a hospital in a patrol car.

The other man in the argument was shot in the head and two women were grazed by bullets.

Police tell the news station a person of interest is in custody.
