3-days and counting, New Jersey warehouse fire continues to burn

Three days and counting. A warehouse fire in Elizabeth, New Jersey continues to burn on Newark Avenue, and the city believes the fire may continue to burn into next week.

The Star-Ledger reports the 8-alarm fire sparked earlier this week, reaching day three by Friday.

According to the report, 50 firefighters continued to battle hot spots.

Officials tell the Star-Ledger they have not detected any danger to the public from toxic fumes, however, crews are unsure of exactly what is burning because they have not been able to get inside.
