21st annual Christina River clean-up event set for Saturday

    Delawareans have been cleaning up the Christina River for 21 years.

    The annual clean-up event is set for tomorrow, and volunteers will be out there no matter the weather. New Castle County’s main source of water, the Christina River Watershed includes White Clay and Red creeks, Churchmans Marsh and other tributaries.

    Volunteers wil get to work as early as 7:30 a.m. and will be cleaning up litter around the waterways until 1 p.m.
