From concerts and movies, to special events for the whole family, there is always something to see and do in Delaware. Here are some of our picks:
New Castle County
Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun. The Wilmington Earth & Arbor Day Celebration is conveniently located near both a major bus depot and a train station. This provides easy access to Earth-friendly, public transportation. The closest parking is about one block away at HyPark Garage. The cheapest parking is two blocks away at the Government Center Garage. This event is wheelchair accessible. The Wilmington Earth & Arbor Day Celebration is sponsored by the City of Wilmington. Its chief collaborator is the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary.
Children ages 8-12 are invited to learn more about the history of various art techniques and create their own projects in that style. On Thursday, April 20 at 6:30 pm Miss Cathy will explore Watercolors! Kent County Public Library, Dover.
