2015 Mt. Airy Day photos

The 45th Mt Airy Day drew hundreds on Saturday to the grounds of historic Cliveden and Upsala buildings. The festival featured arts & crafts tables, a petting zoo, and face-painting.

Many of the Democratic Philadelphia mayoral candidates stopped by the Northwest Philadelphia looking to secure votes. NewsWorks saw: Nelson Diaz, Lynne Abraham, Anthony Williams, Doug Oliver and Jim Kenney.

Mt. Airy Day is put on by the two neighborhood civic groups West Mt. Airy (WMAN) and East Mt. Airy Neighbors (EMAN) . The event straddles Germantown Avenue, which has historically served as a dividing line between West Mt. Airy and East Mt. Airy.
