160 employees called out from Allegheny County Jail on Super Bowl weekend

We know Pittsburgh is a bit far, and no one really cares about the Steelers playing in (or losing) the Super Bowl. But this story is just way to enjoyable not to share. Allegheny County Jail administrators are out for blood after 160 employees called out sick over Super Bowl weekend.

As KDKA reports, the call-outs between Saturday and Monday will cost taxpayers $24,000 in overtime. Now employees are being told to come to work with written excuses for their absences or face disciplinary action.

    Too bad the Steelers lost.

The Stanley Cup and opening day of trout season have proven to be high call-out days in the past, as well.
