16 ethics violations by Donna Reed Miller’s communications director

The communications director for Philadelphia City Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller has been accused of 16 ethics violations following a months-long investigation.

Michael Quintero Moore used Miller’s staff and resources to support the Verna Tyner campaign, the Board of Ethics ruled, though Tyner was unsuccessful in her primary campaign to replace the retiring 8th District councilwoman.

The probe began in May after complaints that Miller’s endorsement of Verna Tyner was sent out on council letterhead. The Daily News reports today the board has found Moore did use council stationery, computers and staffers for the Tyner endorsement, and later attempted to delete evidence.
