15th District Officer injured during arrest
A 15h District Police Officer was injured early yesterday morning in a car accident.
The officer was assisting an arrest at Frankford and Torresdale avenues in Frankford shortly before 2 a.m. when his cruiser was struck by another vehicle.
The driver struck a parked car before hitting the cruiser, and faces DUI charges.
