01-05-11

6400 block Sprague St. – complainant said her step-son hit her with a shovel and a ceramic vase. The offender fled the scene before police arrived.

800 block E. Woodlawn St. – complainant said someone pulled up in front the property and pointed a gun at it. Complainant said he had previously exchanged words with an ex-tenant, who used to reside at the property.

Unit block E. Clapier St. – wallet containing various ID’s and $250 was stolen from the property. Complainant said she was in bed on the second floor when she heard something in the hallway. When she went out to investigate, she noticed a hallway closet was unlocked. Police on the scene did not observe an sings of a forced entry.

5900 block Germantown Ave. – Complainant said someone stole his bag after he fell asleep on the Route 23 bus. The bag contained an Apple laptop, cell phone and various credit cards.

7000 block Boyer St. – Compaq laptop and a cell phone were stolen from the property. Complainant said a friend was doing construction there and that she had an argument with him the day before.

2100 block W. Cheltenham Ave. – complainant said his girlfriend punched him in the mouth while he was talking to his landlord. The couple rent separate rooms at the location.

6400 block Sprague St. – complainant said an acquaintance attempted to stab him with a steak knife after a dispute. The complainant was visiting his father at the time. A witness was able to grab the knife from the offender before the situation escalated further.

4900 Rubicam St. – complainant said an acquaintance punched her with a watch around his fist. The offender was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.

Unit block E. Ashmead St. – complainant said a man and a woman chased her into the listed location. The man pulled out a handgun and threatened her. The woman also tried entering the building. Complainant refused to go to the Northwest Detectives Division.

8100 block Temple Rd. – complainant said an acquaintance raped her. Complainant said she eventually was able to fight the man off and flee from the location. She later went to hospital.

1900 block Renovo St. – complainant said he gave an acquaintance his cell phone to make a call. The offender refused to give it back and then punched the complainant several times in the face. He then fled with the phone, jumped into a car that took off.

79th Ave. / Ogontz Ave. – complainant said someone mugged him while waiting for the bus. The offender fled the scene with the complainant’s cell phone and wallet.

6700 block Musgrave St. – complainant said an acquaintance intentionally crashed into her vehicle several times. The offender then grabbed the complainant by the hair and dragged her out of the car.

6300 block Chew Ave. – complainant said someone approached her and raped her on her way home from school. Complainant was taken to the Special Victims Unit.

8600 block Germantown Ave. – someone broke into the restaurant and stole $200. Police said a side window was broken, a cash register was on the floor and a safe near the bar was open.

5800 block Crittenden St. – complainant said her mother’s boyfriend beat her with a metal rod after he jumped into an altercation the complainant was having with her mother.

1100 block E. Upsal St. – 32″ Vizio TV was stolen from the property. There were no signs of a forced entry. Complainant lives alone and rents a room at the location.

5800 block Crittenden St. – two computers and a Blu-ray player from the property between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 9.

Wadsworth Ave. / Michener Ave. – complainant said he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown men. Only $3 was taken.

5800 block Crittenden St. – 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue stolen between 7:45 a.m. and 10 p.m. Jan. 11.

5800 block Crittenden St. – TV, stereo, DVD player and other electronic equipment stolen from the property. Complainant said she was evicted Dec.14 and had an arrangement with her former landlord to pick up her belongings. When the maintenance man let her into the apartment, she noticed some of her items were missing.

500 block E. Washington Lane – 2000 Volvo 540 stolen. Complainant said he went inside for a minute and when he returned the car was gone.

Michener Ave. / Wadsworth Ave. – complainant said someone stole his cell phone at gunpoint. Complainant was taken to the Northwest Detectives Division in private car.

7700 block Crittenden St. – 32″ Samsung TV was stolen from a Radio Shack. Employee said the offender brought the item up to the counter and then asked for another item. As the employee walked away, the offender fled with the TV in tow.

900 block Plainfield St. – TV stand and DVD player stolen from the property. Complainant said the offender has been staying with her, has a key to the house and knows the alarm code. There was no forced entry.

01-11-11

6100 block Stenton Ave. – complainant said a classmate hit him over the head with a pipe. Complainant said he showed the offender his cell phone while in gym class and that it later was missing from the locker room. When the complainant confronted the offender about the phone, he struck him.

5800 block Crittenden St. – complainant said she returned home to find a trash fire in the kitchen and her ex-boyfriend leaving out of a back window. Multiple items were taken from the location including a Playstation 3, Dell laptop and some clothing.

600 block Church Lane – an apartment building manager said someone pried the tops off of four dryers containing a combined $600 worth of coins.

500 block E. Tulpehocken St. – building owner said one of her tenants pulled out a knife and lunged at her. The complainant was not injured. The offender was taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.

400 block E. Walnut Lane – 2001 Toyota Camry stolen. Complainant said he was warming up her car when someone jumped in the car and drove off.

400 block W. Walnut Lane – police arrived to find the complainant suffering from a stab wound in the upper left leg in a front room of the property. Complainant’s initial statement was that he was shot after showering and that his girlfriend had left the scene. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

100 block W. Rittenhouse St. – complainant said someone stole a $1400 check that was mailed to him. The check was not cashed due to stop payment.

7700 block Stenton Ave. – GPS system stolen from a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire.
