Corbett names chief of staff, other aides

    Pennsylvania Gov.-elect Tom Corbett has filled several top administration positions.  But he still hasn’t named any cabinet appointments. A bit more than a month after he was elected, Corbett named his chief of staff, communications director, and top policy and legislative staffers.Longtime Corbett aide Brian Nutt will run the governor’s office. Nutt, who managed Corbett’s last three statewide campaigns, served as his chief of staff in the attorney general’s office.Campaign and OAG spokesman Kevin Harley will be communications director; Jennifer Branstetter will direct administration policy; and Annmarie Kaiser will work as the chief point person with the General Assembly.Corbett met with transition committee members in Harrisburg last week, but didn’t offer a timetable on when he’d name a cabinet appointment. Corbett, a Republican, has said finding a budget secretary is his first priority.Meantime, Corbett’s transition team has released details about his Jan. 18 inauguration. A family concert and Mass will precede the  swearing-in ceremonies. An inaugural ball will take place at Harrisburg’s Farm Show complex.
