Who’s watching Trenton?

When Trenton, N.J., Mayor Tony Mack was arrested on federal corruption charges earlier this week, many listeners and readers closer to Philadelphia had little sense of the breadth of issues and allegations that plagued his two-year-long administration.

That may be in part because, situated right between two major media markets, the city of Trenton, along with many other small, central New Jersey municipalities, gets little coverage from either.

NewsWorks Tonight Host Dave Heller spoke with Rutgers-Camden Law Professor Ellen Goodman about the dearth of media coverage in some parts of New Jersey.
