Dan grew up in North Carolina, primarily in the Research Triangle region, but has called Philadelphia home since 2004. He has lived in East Falls since 2006. He roots for the ACC in college games (Duke!), and Philly teams in baseball and hockey. Dan graduated from a very small progressive liberal arts college in Plainfield, VT (Goddard, ever heard of it?) and holds a Masters of Liberal Arts from Temple University. His undergraduate thesis was in poetry, and his Master's thesis was in poetics and literary criticism. One of Dan's favorite things about Philly is its accessibility by bike. You very well might see him riding on Kelly Drive at some point. Otherwise, catch him at a show at one of the city's many local venues, or perhaps at the movies.
