Andrew Erace

Andrew Erace is the latest host to join the WHYY family. As host of Movers & Makers, Andrew is your guide to fascinating people, taking you to interesting places here in the greater Philadelphia region. As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Andrew pursued a career in urban studies and real estate development before transitioning into an entrepreneurial role of his own. Passionate about the local food movement, he co-established Green Aisle Grocery, a boutique market stocking farm-fresh and artisanal goods, with locations in the East Passyunk and Graduate Hospital neighborhoods.

Through his business, Andrew had the opportunity to grow his presence on camera, most notably as co-host of Food Network’s Great American Food Finds. When he’s not down the shore hitting the beach or biking the Boardwalk, Andrew is an avid traveler, Sixers fan, Manhattan drinker and real estate investor based in South Philly.
