Wreath redux

Last picture of my front door, I promise. A few days ago I posted a photo of my ironic 50s kitsch holiday wreath. It was okay, but I wanted something a little more sophisticated so I made this one, which now reminds me of an inedible version of something you’d get at a pretentious restaurant. As in, “Our special today is fresh locally grown Southern magnolia, served over a bed of mixed baby evergreens, garnished with lotus pods and preserved shelf fungus and dressed with glittery gold organza ribbon.” Whatever; I’m ready to move on from this project, so my plan will be to lose the bow after the holidays and keep the rest of it up until spring.
