Wolf takes tweeted questions at ‘Twitter town hall’

From school funding to the future of coal, Gov. Tom Wolf spent a half-hour on Twitter fielding Pennsylvanians’ tweeted questions about his agenda.

Individuals and interest groups participated in Tuesday’s “Twitter town hall” and Wolf responded in brief sentences or through links to videos and other online sources of information.

Asked how he would increase early-childhood education programs, he advised the questioner to “stay tuned” for the budget address he’s scheduled to make to lawmakers next week.

The Democrat dodged some questions, including a query about his relationship with the Republicans who control both houses of the Legislature. He said that the both “must work together” to make progress.
