A low pressure system will move through the area tonight and deliver a wintry mix before changing to rain as temperatures rise tomorrow morning.

Precipitation is likely to overspread the area from the west as snow by the early morning hours, according to the National Weather Service.

But by early morning, snow will begin to change over to sleet and freezing rain before changing to plain rain by mid-morning as temperatures rise into the 30s.

The National Weather Service is forecasting less than an inch of snow and a few hundredths of an inch of ice at the Jersey Shore.
