Winslow Township to honor Olympic wrestler Burroughs with parade

The celebration hasn’t ended yet for Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs.

Winslow Township, N.J., will hold a parade this weekend for its native son, the 24-year-old wrestling champ.

Burroughs beat Iran’s Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi 1-0, 1-0 to give the U.S. its first wrestling gold medal of the London Games earlier this month. The parade begins Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church, 242 Sicklerville Rd.
