When Sandy Hook students return to school in January, they’ll be in a new building.

So West Philly resident Eva Jacobs is asking her neighbors to pitch into to a collection to make the new space a welcoming environment for those still recovering from last week’s shooting. The West Philly Local reports Jacobs is asking her neighbors to participate in Sandy Hook’s effort to turn the new school into a “winter wonderland.” Anyone who wants to help can make and send paper snowflakes to be hung in the new building.
