West Chester Police Department receives borough honor

    The West Chester Police Department is the winner of the 2010 J. Dewees Mosteller Community Service Award for its safety services and other roles in the Borough. The department was honored Tuesday night by the Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester.
    The Daily Local reports the honor, given annually, was awarded for its partnership with the chamber on a number of events, including its handling of the large weekend crowds drawn to the borough’s bars and music venues.
