As Haitian immigrants continue relocating to the Philadelphia area, the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians has released a free Haitian Immigrant Resource Guide.

The guide is meant for Haitians coming into the Philadelphia and includes information about healthcare, education and housing.

Census data show there are about 11,000 Haitians living in the Philadelphia area, according to the Welcoming Center, so the guide is designed to help not just immigrants but those assisting them, like friends, family, social workers, etc.

The English guide is available online and in print, and a Kreyol version will be printed in February.
