After days of overcast skies and well below normal temperatures, relief is on the way for the weekend.

But before then, we’ll have overcast conditions overnight, and some fog in coastal areas, according to the National Weather Service.

After possibly some light rain showers associated with a cold front passage during the morning hours tomorrow, forecasters expect gradual clearing during the afternoon.

Temperatures will rebound to near seasonable levels, with lower 70s at the coast and middle to upper 70s inland, and there will be a light northeasterly wind. Skies will be mostly clear overnight, and temperatures will drop down to the 50s.

By Sunday, skies will remain generally clear, with some passing clouds. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than Saturday, and the northeasterly wind will increase slightly.

Ocean temperatures are in the upper 50s north, lower 60s south, according to NOAA.
