Wanted: kidney

A Central Bucks East teacher has offers from around the country from people hoping to give him a kidney. And Jerry Alampi could really use one. Alampi lost one kidney to cancer 15 years ago, and now needs another. Some of his current and former students are trying to help him out.

With the help of Kristy Krenjenko Sevag, whom Alampi taught 12 years ago, billboards have been put up in the region requesting donors, the Bucks  County Courier Times reports.

Sevag used her connections in the advertising industry, garnering offers from as far away as Canada. The process of finding a match can take weeks, and so far, one hasn’t been made.
