    Philadelphia ranks third and fourth in America’s most walkable cities. The metropolis came in fourth for overall walkability and third in the list of cities that have neighborhoods with above-average walk scores.

     

    Walkscore.com compiled the lists based on access to amenities like schools, parks, groceries, banking, entertainment and more. Philadelphia’s overall walk score is 74, coming in behind San Francisco, New York and Boston with ranks of 85, 84 and 79, respectively.

    NewsWorks’ headquarters in Old City has a walkability score of 92 out of 100, and a solid 100 for its transit score.
