Vick being considered for Madden video game cover

    And the comeback is official.

Michael Vick is among the NFL stars being considered for the cover of the Madden NFL 12 video game. Voting is being done bracket-style as part of a Madden, ESPN partnership.

The Eagles star graced the 2004 Madden cover before his run-in with the law for dog fighting and animal cruelty charges. He’s up against 2011 cover star Drew Brees of the Saints, as well as Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, Jacksonville’s Maurice Jones-Drew, Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson and Chicago’s Julius Peppers.

Hat tip to Tony Sadowski for tracking down the article, and for this Feed-tastic joke: “If there’s no NFL season, Madden will pretty much be the only game in town.”
