Vandalism charges dropped for Bucks teens’ chalk drawings

Doylestown police have dropped vandalism charges against two teenagers cited last week for their parking lot chalk drawings.

PhillyBurbs reports 18-year-old Connor Logan and his 17-year-old friend are off the hook after the police chief reconsidered the “attempt at vandalism” charges.
Logan previously said he’d found the chalk in a parking lot while waiting for friends. He drew some sea turtles and a whale before police came along.

The charges were brought about by concerns of other, less family-friendly chalk drawings spotted around the borough, and the fear that the teens’ sketches could lead to more heavy vandalism. Like washable crayons, maybe.
