Two arrested for robbery at Delaware mall

State Police arrest a couple accused of robbing a 19-year-old woman outside the Christiana Mall last night.

The incident happened around 9:35 Thursday night in the parking lot of the mall near the Barnes and Noble Bookstore.  As the victim got to her car, she found one of the suspects inside holding a bag.  The victim started yelling at the suspect when the suspect’s male accomplice knocked the victim to the ground and began to attack her.  The two suspects got away in an SUV and ran over the victim’s leg while making their get away.

State Police found the SUV a short time later in the Silview development near the intersection of Windsor Avenue and Adelphi Avenue.  They’ve identified the suspects as Bradley Hampton and Kimberly Dorman.  Inside the SUV, police say they found evidence linking the two to the robbery.

The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.  Hampton and Dorman face charges including robbery and conspiracy.
