Teacher, Chester Upland school board president tussle

Police are investigating a physical confrontation involving the president of a Philadelphia-area school board and a high school teacher.

Chester Upland School Board President Wanda Mann and Chester High School teacher Leslye Jordan each blame the other for starting the fight Wednesday at the school.

Both women say the confrontation involved a letter Jordan wrote in January complaining that she’d been assaulted by a student.

Mann says Jordan brought her daughter to the school to intimidate the student but Jordan says her daughter had finished testing at another school and had simply come to meet her.

Police are examining cellphone video of the fight.
