Delaware police search for triple shooting suspects

More violence in Dover as three men are recovering from gun shot wounds after a shooting incident in the Capital Park community Tuesday night.

State Police say the three victims, ages 21, 36, and 16, were inside a home in the 100 block of Presidents Drive around 10 p.m. Tuesday when three men barged through the front door and opened fire.  The 21-year-old was hit in the back by a bullet that then got lodged in his chest area.  He was flown to Christiana Hospital and was last listed in critical condition.  The 36-year-old victim is being treated for a shoulder wound at Kent General and the 15-year-old was treated and released for a minor wound believed to be from a bullet.

The search is now on for three suspects, all from Dover.  The accused shooters are 22-year-old Brandon McDonald, 18-year-old Mark Tolson, and 21-year-old George Brinkley.  They will all face charges including assault, burglary and conspiracy.

Tuesday night’s shooting comes just days after two Dover men were killed in their home over the weekend.  Dover Police have charged Jason O’Neil in the death of 91-year-old Howard A. Sheppard and his son, 60-year-old Howard R. Sheppard.  The two men were killed inside their Governor Street home sometime over the weekend.
