Trees take a hit in Germantown

Some Germantown residents are just waking up, others have yet to get any sleep. Hurricane Irene has made her way to Philadelphia and continues to move through Philadelphia and its surrounding areas.

In Lower Germantown residents say they are not surprised by the tree damages outside of their home. One resident named Alan says, “after 40 years of living here, I have seen trees fall on cars and the damages it cause… When I heard about Hurricane Irene coming, I made sure my car was not parked under trees.”

Although Irene is starting to move away, there are still concerns of more damages.
