Three men charged with rape and kidnapping of North Philly teen

Three men have been charged with rape, sexual assault of a minor, and kidnapping, along with other similar offenses for abducting a North Philadelphia teen and keeping the 15-year-old captive in Upper Darby for days.

“These are sickos, there is no doubt about it,” said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood to Philly.com. Chitwood described the abduction of the girl as “brutal” and heinous.”

The men are being held at a Delaware County prison, each on $100,000 bail. A hearing is scheduled on October 12.
