More holiday travelers, more police on the roads
Safe Family Holiday Campaign now underway on Delaware’s roads.
The annual effort to reduce accidents on the roads got underway this past weekend. Over the next six weeks, 29 police agencies statewide will take part in 1,009 DUI saturation patrols, 133 aggressive driving patrols, and 114 seat belt patrols. The DUI saturation patrols will begin on Thanksgiving Eve (November 23) and will run through the end of the year.
