Teen dies in 8-story fall at Philly-area complex
Police say a 14-year-old girl has died after falling eight stories from an apartment building in suburban Philadelphia.
It happened at the Marquis Apartments in Upper Merion Township around 6:30 p.m.Tuesday. Lt. Michael Martin says the girl was taken to a hospital where she died Tuesday night.
Martin says police are investigating the circumstances of the girl’s fall but do not suspect foul play or suicide.
The girl’s name has not been released.
