Tea Party time

Bostonians aren’t the only ones who can throw a tea party. Back in 1773, Philadelphia had its own Tea Party, though it often goes overlooked. Today, you can catch the re-enactment.

Rescheduled from Dec. 27 due to snow, you can catch the party at 1 p.m. at Independence Mall, where Big Talker host Dom Giordano will act as Benjamin Rush.

The second annual Commemorative Christmas Tea Party will feature program booklets, a fife and drum, hot cider, cocoa and cookies. Gifts or donations for troops will also be collected.
