It’s been a week since Sweet Jenny’s Peppermint Park in Barnegat Township caught fire. Now facing severe damage of the $3 million property, the owner says he’ll rebuild.
What remains of the popular Route 9 ice cream shop will be bulldozed, the Press of Atlantic City reports, and owner Marty Sprinzen will rebuild, leaving behind charred family antiques.
It’s not clear yet when the rebuilding process will begin or how long it will take.
