Style Cramp

    The Cramp Building is going. The nearly 100-year-old building part of the former William Cramp & Sons ship-building complex on Richmond Street near Delaware Avenue will be torn down beginning Monday to make way for an I-95 interchange.

    Along with two other buildings, the Cramp Building will be removed as part of the I-95/Girard Avenue Interchange Project to connect the highway to Richmond Street.

    Demolition will begin Monday with historic items will be preserved and may be used for public art.
